My son is on a playdate and they went miniature golfing. The other mom keeps sending me texts delaying pick up since they are having so much fun.
My twin daughters invented some game where one of them in Ramona and the other is Beezus. They have been happily playing together in the backyard for almost two hours. It makes me so happy I almost can't type this without fighting the tears.
I have three grocery bags from Whole Foods left to unpack sitting on my kitchen floor.
There are raccoon footprints all over my back porch and outdoor seat cushions. Some of our new sod is torn up the pest also attempted to get into the rabbit food I keep stored outside.
I have 121 unread emails in my inbox, three permission slips waiting to be signed and about five loads of laundry waiting to be folded.
I can't stop laughing about this.
My kitchen floor needs to be vacuumed for about the fifth time today.I have Michael Jackson's Thriller stuck in my head from the mechanical mummy we bought this morning at the drug store.
I just finished reading over some of my archives and I am wondering why I was so much more comfortable with myself as a writer when I first started blogging. I wish I could recapture some inspiration and a little of the confidence I once had.
I'm on my third Diet Pepsi of the day.
This is what my kitchen table looks like.

All in all, sounds like a good day! If it makes you feel any better, I am having those same writing thoughts. Why did this come easier at the beginning? I'm struggling lately also. Wish you were with J in Chicago, we owe you guys a great dinner! :)
That all sounds like a great day. Truly.
Lemme see...I am eating Bailey's skittles (kids had school), but I'm only eating the orange and purple ones. In hopes that she won't notice.
My reader has 490 in it right now. It was at 500 earlier. I can't seem to concentrate...or well multi-task today.
I just had to ask someone else to come and do my Morgan's make-up at her first dance recital this coming up Saturday, because I lack the girl gene.
And? I completely miss you. Am so glad that I get to see you next week.
121 emails? UGH! You poor thing. It does sound like a lovely day though, and I just loved reading this post. Miss your posts and comments! Hope you return full force (ish) soon! :)
Crafts on the kitchen table? I am impressed. My kids haven't seen a craft in many moons!
That photo on the fence/hedge/wall/ is adorable!
crafts? on the table? don't let my daughters see that.
and i hear you on the laundry needing to be folded. it's my least favorite chore!
I love that you bought the drugstore Thriller mummy! This year, I can't stop spending money on Halloween trinkets.
Hi there, love your blog! I found it through some of the other intercultural relationship blogs. We seem to have a few things in common: my sister's name is Kirsten, I am 1/4 Norwegian, and I'm in a relationship with an Indian man. :)
How nice that your children were all happy and playing!
..thriller, Thriller night....
